In order to create something that appeals to R&R I had to learn everything about who they are and there clients. I looked into both their products and production.
This encouraged me to learn about the new innovations in ice cream, as this is something they talk about on their website. New products have been developed such as colour changing ice cream, glow in the dark and even the freshest ice cream around which is made with liquid nitrogen!

Alongside this I looked at inspiration of both ice
cream packaging and even utensils.

Ice Kitchen
Based in London, Ice Kitchen create natural handmade Ice Lolly’s, they are well known for wining many taste awards. Although very successful one thing I think that stands out the most is the packaging and branding something so clean, bright and thoughtful would work really well in catching R&R’s attention. The designs use really basic crafted strokes with an adjacent colour to really push the handmade elements.

Jolly Nice, was created in a farm shop, making the ice cream equally fresh and delicious. One thing
that stands out the most is the beautiful owing typography used on the packaging, typography is really important in setting a tone to the audience in this case it targets a female bias around 20+. With the audience of R&R being likely above 16 and either male or female I must consider what is likely to catch their attention.
