Tad Carpenter
Carpenter uses bright colours and has a range of styles, although upbeat illustration his work can change in the instance of appropriation. Carpenters styles would work represented in paper cut and would allow thorough detail.
Paper cut
The process of paper cutting for design is seemingly simple, the process involves having a design in mind, a scalpel, and some adhesive element. The overall look of paper cut creates a 3D view and element, despite often being the case the design is flat. By using paper cut as method it adds character, craft, texture and a natural shadow. Most paper cuts use bright colours to add depth. With the Goldie’s song having much more depth involved to the eye using such a method could visually represent the artist’s idea of complications.

Eve Warren
Warren a past student submitted a paper cut design for a previous years competition. I was particularly inspired by her method and outcome, being interested in this method (papercut) I would like to use this technique to represent Goldie’s inner city life if appropriate.
